The input shaft will need to be turned down and sleeved before use. Both shafts are worn at the nose on left side of photo. Other than the nose wear, both shafts are in excellent shape and ready to use. I mic'ed the bearing surface at 0.749, which is right where its supposed to be.

This is the input shaft or main drive gear, and that sliding gears fit on. You can just barely catch the pitting with a fingernail. However this could easily be sleeved as well. This is a set of original Ford model A transmission shafts.

The main shaft is probably OK to use.
